Ausangate Trek to Machu Picchu
Description
Day 1 - Cusco - Ocongate – Tinqui – Upis.
Very early in the morning, we will pick you up from the hotel to head our bus to Ocongate, a place where we are going to start our trek in the direction of the village of Tinqui (3.800 m.a.s.l. ), here we will have our first rest and lunch. Then we will continue our trek noting some snow-capped mountains that offers our nature until reach our first camp at a place called Upis (4.140 m.a.s.l. ).
Day 2 - Upis - Abra Arapa.
After a well-deserved breakfast, we will begin our walk towards Abra Arapa, this second day's walk is one of the nicest, because walking is not so arduous, but the extraordinary thing is that we can see imposing snow-capped mountains, until arrive to our second camp.
Day 3 - Abra Arapa- Abra Campo.
After breakfast, we will start our trek towards the Abra Campo. On this tour we will see majestic glaciers found on top of the plain and in the same way will have the opportunity to observe many animals, who live in these heights.
Day 4 - Abra Campo - Pacchanta.
This day our walk is not so exhausting, since we will walk along an enormous flatness in company of any moraines that are a marvel to observe them, also we will observe some communities that even maintain its customs in the upbringing of its animals.
Day 5 - Pacchanta - Tinki – Cusco.
Last day of trekking. After breakfast we will start our walk to arrive to Tinki, where will be waiting our bus to return to the city of Cusco, during this tour we will appreciate many communities still showing their rustic houses .
