Day 01 Reception Juliaca – Puno

The first day welcome and assistance in the airport of Juliaca, then transfer to the city of Puno. During the journey toward Puno, we will visit the famous Chullpas of Sillustani, tombs of the ancient Aymara inhabitants with cylindrical shape made with stone.

Also we can appreciate the flora and fauna typical of this part of the Peruvian territory. have all afternoon free to relax and adapt to climate and altitude of Puno.

Day 02 Lake Titicaca - floating Islands of Uros - Amantani Island

Early in the morning after breakfast, we begin an unforgettable excursion on the islands of the highest navigable lake in the world, Lake Titicaca. First we will go in a motor boat to the island of Uros, inhabited by descendants of ancient Aymara inhabitants, who maintain this island by adding periodically new layers of totora (plant that grows in lagoons) to the island to keep it afloat.

Also The inhabitants use the totora for the construction of their houses and boats also known as Caballitos de totora, which are used for fishing. After an unforgettable experience on this island we will continue navigating to Amantani island, Here we will have the opportunity to interact directly with the inhabitants of this island, since we will spend the night in the homes of Amantani local families.

Day 03 Amantani – Taquile island – Puno

After an unforgettable experience in the island of Amantani we will continue navigating to Taquile island, inhabited by ancient quechua inhabitants who keep alive their ancestral traditions, they have developed generation after generation impressive techniques of tissue. And we will see the in their daily works.

In the afternoon, after lunch we will return to the city of Puno to rest in the corresponding hotel.

Day 04 Puno – Juliaca

In the morning after breakfast we will go towards the Juliaca airport to embark to your next destination
