Itinerary

Day 01 Arequipa - City Tour

Upon arriving at Arequipa assistance will be provided in the airport, immediately transfer to the hotel selected Lodge. In the afternoon we will visit the main tourist attractions of the 'White City'. the Main Square, the Cathedral then, the Church of the Jesuits, where you will be impressed by the beauty of its , considered the best example of the mestizo (Peruvian-Spanish) baroque-style in Arequipa, since the 17th century.

Later, we will visit “El Convent de Santa Catalina” (monastery), beautiful citadel of the 16th century, in the style of the Spanish cities of the epoch.

1. Accommodation in Arequipa.

Day 02 Arequipa - Chivay

Early in the morning we prepare for a two-day trip to the impressive Colca Valley, We will go to this by the road to Yura.

The enormous Chachani volcano dominates the scene until “Pampa Canahuas”, Salinas and Aguada, La Reserva Nacional Blanca (“the National White Reserve”), where you can see many species of birds in natural habitats, as well as the vicuñas and flames that inhabit this area of the peruvian andes, we can admire terraces pre-Columbian tombs that are still cultivated by the native Collaguas.

Then we take the side road to the town of Chivay. In the afternoon, you can visit La Calera and enjoy an invigorating bath in the hot springs or simply spend a pleasant afternoon in the lodge.

Day 03 Chivay - Condor's Cross - return the city of Arequipa.

Very early in the morning, begin the journey to Cruz del Condor, where we will enjoy a spectacular view of one of the deepest canyons in the world (3,000 m / 9,800 feet), and with luck, we will have the opportunity to take a photograph of the largest and most impressive bird that flies in the Andes of Peru, the majestic Andean Condor, formerly considered by the Incas, as the sacred bird of Tahuantinsuyo, this large bird makes its flight early in search of their daily food.

Subsequently, we can make a stop in the town of Pinchollo, the only Pre-Inca city still inhabited, and the town of Maca, where we can find handicrafts market and beautiful colonial church.

We will have lunch in the town of Chivay and then we will continue our tour back to Arequipa.

Day 04 Arequipa - Exit .

At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport to take the flight to your next destination.
